The Auchterarder Running Festival (ARF) will return this year over the weekend of 7/8 September with both half marathon and 10K distances on offer. Those signing up to either events can once again expect to be rewarded with a tour of the town and surrounding countryside.

Starting and finishing in the heart of Auchterarder the picturesque route shows off the surrounding countryside to the max. With generous cut-off times and a friendly vibe this festival really is welcoming to all.

The races finish at The Community School of Auchterarder where family, friends and supporters can come along and cheer you across the finish line. There will be refreshments and treats available within our finishers area for all runners and their supporters.

Speaking about the event, organisers said: "We're so excited to be welcoming you back to Auchterarder for our Festival weekend of running. And what a weekend we have in store for you.

"Auchterarder promises to be buzzing for the duration. We have our 10K, Half Marathon and iconic Double Dare (10K and Half Marathon) events ready and waiting for you and what’s more we are opening our weekend again with our Junior Fun Run!"

Those of you decide to take part in the festival’s infamous Double Dare will receive separate event specific medals for each of those races, plus two quality technical finishers t-shirts PLUS every Double Dare finisher will receive a unique extra finishers’ medal. Why not double dare your friends to take part, and join in the fun yourself - after all it will be double the fun!
