The Alcester 10K is a road race organised by Raceways Events CIC, starting and finishing in the historic market town of Alcester near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.
The single-lap course starts on Alcester High Street before heading out of town onto rural country lanes. Runners explore the surrounding Warwickshire countryside before returning to Alcester, where local spectators provide support around the finish. Two drinks stations are positioned along the route.
The race is chip timed, with finishers receiving a medal and T shirt along with post-race snacks. A free 1K Kids Fun Run also forms part of the event, starting and finishing close to the main race finish and providing medals for participating children. The combination of a town centre start, countryside course and community support gives the Alcester 10K a distinctive local character.
