Milling around the courtyard at Warwick Castle for the Two Castles 10K

Two Castles 10K back in the running

Welcome return for this in-demand, picturesque race.

This Sunday (12 June), participants will dig in on a delightfully hilly course at the Two Castles Run. Battle will commence at 9am as 4,000 runners make their way from Warwick to Kenilworth with local support along the way.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Kenilworth and Leamington Cycling and Athletics Club (Leamington C & AC), the Two Castles Run has grown in popularity over the years and places are snapped up as soon as they become available leading to a ballot system being used for entries. This event is also a fundraiser with all proceeds going to worthy causes.

No race in 2020 and 2021 as a result of the pandemic. Normal service has resumed in 2022 as the 38th Two Castles Run is all set to deliver a memorable day. Participants start at Warwick Castle and finish at Kenilworth Castle through stunning countryside with marshals to keep them on the right road to the end.

The prize list includes the top three male and female in the Open, Juniors (15-20 years), 35-44, Over 45 and Over 55: the Oldest Male and Female Finishers and the first, second and third Teams. Medal, t-shirt and goody bag to every finisher.

The Two Castles Run is the fourth race in the Warwickshire Road Race League and competition will be fierce. Members of local clubs will push themselves over a traffic-free course with individual and team pride at stake and points to aim for. The next race in the series is the Arden 9 on the 19 June.
