The Clent 8K 2026 takes place on Wednesday 12th August 2026 at Nimmings Wood Car Park in the Clent Hills. Organised by Halesowen Athletics Club, the race is the final event in the Worcestershire Midweek Series, following the Hagley 10K, Arrow Valley 12K and Droitwich 10K.
The course follows a challenging two-lap route through the Clent Hills, with runners tackling steep climbs, woodland trails and varied off-road terrain. The hilly nature of the course makes this a rewarding test of endurance and strength, with excellent views across the surrounding countryside.
The event offers a friendly summer evening race atmosphere, with runners able to compete individually or as part of the wider series. The Clent 8K provides a memorable finale to the series, combining a tough trail challenge with excellent local club support.Â
