Worcester Races

Heading For Another Sell-Out

There's still time to enter one of these popular Worcester races...

The Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K are back on 18 May and, after selling out in 2024 with long waiting lists, organisers are encouraging runners to sign up as soon as possible to secure their place. A spokesperson said: "Now in its 14th year, these races have become a staple of the local running calendar and so you'll need to be quick to guarantee a spot!"

The full marathon will see runners take on two laps of a scenic rural loop. The half marathon follows the same route for the first lap before splitting off just after 11 miles and heading towards the finish, which this year moves to Worcester Rugby Club instead of Sixways.

The 10K race will offer a shorter but equally picturesque challenge including a stunning 4 kilometre stretch along the canal towpath up to Dunhampstead.

All finishers will receive a bespoke 2025 medal to mark their achievement. The event will once again partner with St Richard’s Hospice, an independent Worcestershire-based charity providing expert care for patients and their families. The hospice has been a key supporter of the race with volunteers helping to marshal the course and cheer on runners.

With its stunning rural scenery and enthusiastic support the Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K races are sure to provide runners in the region with another fantastic day of racing.
