Wirral Seaside Run Race 5

Seaside Race 5 starts near Leasowe Lighthouse in Moreton and follows a point to point 5K route along the sea embankment, finishing on Harrison Drive near the Lifeguard Station. The flat coastal course provides excellent conditions for fast running, making it popular with runners aiming for personal bests as well as those new to racing.

Organised by Pensby Runners, the event forms one race in the long established Wirral Seaside Runs series. Race numbers are collected at Leasowe Lighthouse before the start and can be reused at future races in the series. The event welcomes runners of all abilities and has been a popular fixture in the Merseyside running calendar for more than 30 years.

Whether you're targeting a fast finish or enjoying a summer evening race by the coast, Seaside Race 5 offers a welcoming atmosphere, scenic sea views and one of the fastest 5K courses on the Wirral.
