Windmill Rememberance Day 10K

A two minute silence is observed before the start of the race for Remembrance Sunday.
The event first ran in 2011 with 500 runners lining the route. It was a very memorable day with a respectful two minutes silence before the start, then runners set off taking in some great sights of this lovely town including the iconic Lytham Windmill.
Due to the success and feedback from runners it is now an annual event. The 2019 event saw an entry of 2350, its capacity, so is now a very popular event. It is also very flat and certified as accurately measured by the Association of UK Course Measurers and licenced by UK Athletics.
