White City 10K is organised by West London Run, bringing a closed road running event to White City and Shepherd's Bush in West London. Based around Linford Christie Stadium, home of Thames Valley Harriers, the event combines a 10K road race with a children's 1K on the stadium's athletics track.
The predominantly flat 10K course is designed for fast running, with a proposed route incorporating Scrubs Lane, Wood Lane, Uxbridge Road and South Africa Road. Starting and finishing near Linford Christie Stadium, runners will explore the surrounding streets of White City and Shepherd's Bush on traffic free roads. The precise route remains subject to final approval and measurement.
The 10K features chip timing, pacers and a finisher's medal, with baggage storage, toilets and refreshments available around the stadium. Children aged five to 14 can take part in the 1K race, completing two and a half laps of the athletics track. The event also supports Thames Valley Harriers, helping the club encourage participation in athletics across West London.
