Wendover Woods Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K takes place among the scenic forest trails of Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire. The multi terrain course is hilly throughout, with significant climbs and autumn woodland scenery creating a challenging setting across all three distances.
The route is based around a 10K lap through the forest, with the longer races completing multiple laps and additional sections to reach their respective distances. Runners can choose the 10K, half marathon or full marathon, making this a varied trail running event for those looking to test themselves over the hills of Wendover Woods.
The event includes a bespoke finisher medal, free race photography and trophies and prizes for leading runners, with a six hour cut off applying to the event. A separate Junior 1K also gives younger runners the opportunity to take part in the race day.
