The Waseley Wobbler is a hilly 8.5 mile multi terrain race starting and finishing at Waseley Hills High School in Rubery. The route heads into the surrounding countryside for a challenging course packed with climbs and varied terrain.
Runners tackle more than 300m of ascent across fields and trails, with stiles, muddy sections, tarmac and stony paths all featuring along the way. Frequent changes in surface and gradient give the race its distinctive character, with the hills providing a demanding test throughout the 8.5 miles.
The Waseley Wobbler is organised by Bromsgrove & Redditch Athletic Club, with marshals supporting runners around the course. The event base provides changing facilities, showers and parking, with homemade cakes and refreshments traditionally waiting after the race.
