Tynedale Harriers Pie n Peas 10K

The Tynedale Pie 'n' Peas 10K is organised by Tynedale Harriers and follows a fast one lap route through the picturesque Tyne Valley in Northumberland. Starting in Ovington and finishing at Tyne Riverside Country Park in Low Prudhoe, the popular summer evening race has become one of the North East's best known 10K events.

The course features a quick downhill opening section before continuing along quiet rural roads through Ovingham and Wylam. With gentle undulations and an accurately measured route, it offers excellent potential for fast times while showcasing the scenic countryside of the Tyne Valley.

Chip timing, a friendly club atmosphere and the event's traditional Pie 'n' Peas supper after the race combine to make this a memorable fixture in the North East running calendar, attracting both competitive club runners and recreational runners year after year.
