The Petzl Tunnel Vision event takes place on the Brampton Valley Way near Market Harborough, offering a distinctive running experience with both night and early morning options.
Runners complete a 5 mile out and back route along a flat, hard packed trail, passing through the 422 metre long Oxendon Tunnel. The tunnel is largely unlit, creating a unique atmosphere, with runners required to use a head torch throughout.
Participants can choose to take part in either the evening run, the early morning run, or both, with the dawn option offering the added bonus of sunrise views along the route.
The course is fully marked and supported, with marshals, first aid cover and a simple, accessible layout that suits both experienced runners and those looking for something a little different.
All finishers receive a medal, with prizes for leading runners and additional refreshments provided after each run. A memorable and slightly different event that combines simple racing with a unique setting.
