The Timber Trails is a trail running event based at Sanders Park in Bromsgrove. Covering 6.5 Miles, the race explores the surrounding Worcestershire countryside on a varied off road route that combines woodland, fields and public footpaths with a friendly community atmosphere.
The course is predominantly off road, following countryside trails, grassy paths and woodland tracks, with stiles and kissing gates adding to the challenge. A few short sections use quiet country lanes around Timberhonger Lane before returning to Sanders Park, creating a scenic and rewarding trail running experience with several testing hills.
The event features a fully marshalled course, official chip timing, a water station and a finisher's medal for every participant. Its varied terrain, picturesque rural setting and welcoming organisation have established Timber Trails as an enjoyable addition to the Worcestershire trail running calendar.
