The Railway Relay is a team relay running event from Peterhead to Ellon on the Formartine and Buchan Way, the old railway line that is now a traffic-free shared use path. Enter a team (3-5 people) and complete the ~27 mile distance by sharing the 9 relay legs ranging in distance from 2 to 4 miles each. Set a runner off, drive to the next changeover point, and repeat all the way! All abilities welcome. Times to complete the distance typically range from under 3 hours to over 5 hours.
This is a social, fun event where you will have a great time cheering on all participants as you leapfrog down the route bantering with the other teams.
