The Original series season finale sets off three brand new trail running routes from the 850-years old Manor House of Stonor Park. The estate is home to one of the most ancient deer herds in Britain, so keep your eyes peeled for the graceful fallow deer that have grazed here since medieval times. Out on the trails if you’re lucky you may also spot the rare red kite, which have successfully been saved from national extinction in the area.
All three routes weave through the estate and surrounding Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. However it’s not all a blissful fairy-tale or a chance to spot rare wildlife, there are some ferocious trails to negotiate, with climbs and descents reaching gradients of 22% in parts. You’ll need your head firmly focused on the task ahead to get through some parts of this event.
