Flat, traffic free and mostly off road route along the south side of River Thames. From Race HQ (start and finish) at Old Deer Park, runners complete a 20 mile course along the Thames towpath. The terrain varies and is uneven in stretches. Primarily gravel with mud in places and limited lengths of footpath. Normal road or trail shoes will be ideal.
