Tewkesbury Half Marathon is organised by Future Sports Events and starts and finishes on the High Street in the heart of the historic Gloucestershire market town.
The course heads through Tewkesbury before continuing into the surrounding countryside, combining historic streets with quieter rural sections. Runners pass some of the area's best-known landmarks, including Tewkesbury Abbey, while part of the route follows a designated cycle path alongside the A46 before returning towards the town centre.
The race is chip timed and supported by marshals, pacers, water stations and medical teams. Road closures are used extensively around the course, with a small number of controlled open-road sections. Finishers receive an official medal and technical head buff, with professional event photography also included.
