Tempo 10K Winter Road Race 1

The Tempo Winter Series begins with a 10K road race from Ilmington Sports & Social Club in the Warwickshire countryside. Race 1 is the first of five monthly events running from October through to February, with runners able to enter individual rounds or take on the complete series.

The opening race follows the series' hilly 10K course in an anticlockwise direction, taking runners onto the open roads surrounding Ilmington. Its undulating rural setting provides a testing start to the winter series, with the changing direction and a different route for the December round adding variety across the five races.

The race is chip timed, with timing chips attached to runners' race numbers and results recorded at each round. Individual and age category prizes are awarded, while runners completing all five races receive a series memento alongside the distinctive finisher prize awarded at each event.
