Telford Town Park Dark Run is a family friendly evening event raising funds for Hope House Children's Hospices. Participants can complete the 5K or take on the shorter 2.5K fun run, with running, jogging and walking all welcome.
The routes take participants around the grounds of Telford Town Park after dark. Runners are encouraged to brighten the evening with glowing outfits and should bring a head torch or flashlight to help them around the course. Children can participate when accompanied by a paying adult.
Finishers receive a bespoke glow in the dark medal and goody bag, while the event raises funds to support the work of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospices. The relaxed format and shorter distance make it an accessible evening event for families as well as runners.
