Southampton MoRun brings the nationwide MoRunning series to Southampton Common, with 5K, 10K and Half Marathon races alongside a 1.5K Mini MoRun for children. The November event supports Movember and men's health, with fancy dress and moustaches adding to the distinctive MoRunning atmosphere.
Runners follow an undulating mixed terrain course around Southampton Common, using paths and trails with grass sections around the event hub. The 5K completes one lap, the 10K two laps, while the Half Marathon begins with an additional 1.1K loop before four full laps. All distances are chip timed, with net and gun times recorded.
Every finisher receives a MoRun medal and headband, with additional prizes for categories including the fastest runners and best fancy dress. The event hub provides registration, toilets and bag storage, with water, sweets and other refreshments available at the finish.
