South Cave 10K is a 10K road race starting at the gates of Cave Castle before winding through the historic village of South Cave and into the surrounding East Yorkshire countryside. The route passes through the picturesque village of Ellerker before returning to South Cave, with a couple of gentle climbs adding variety before a lap of the playing field leads runners to the finish.
Organised by Kingston upon Hull Athletic Club, the event features a UKA measured course with chip timing, finisher's medals and commemorative T shirts. Race headquarters, registration and the finish are based at South Cave Pavilion, with runners making the short walk to the start at Cave Castle before the race begins.
