ACORN South By Five at Rouken Glen is a 5K mixed terrain race organised by Acorn Trails in East Renfrewshire. The event forms part of a six race series visiting parks across Glasgow's south side, with runners able to enter individual races or compete across the full series.
The Rouken Glen course follows a mixture of woodland trails and park paths, with climbs, descents and flatter sections creating a varied running challenge. The route includes loops through the park, with marshals and course markings guiding participants along the way. The park's wooded surroundings provide a scenic setting for the race.
Runners completing five of the six events earn the title of Fiver, with overall series awards presented after the final race. Entry supports the Acorn Trails Community Fund and the charity Give A Dog A Bone, with participants also encouraged to contribute foodbank donations.
