Slaley Hall Half Marathon & 10K

Slaley Hall Half Marathon and 10K are organised by Wild Deer Events and explore the extensive woodland and countryside surrounding Slaley Hall in Northumberland.

Both races start within the historic estate, which sits in around 1,000 acres of countryside on the edge of the North Pennines. The 10K completes a single lap through the Slaley Hall grounds, while the Half Marathon extends into Slaley Forest, with around seven miles of the longer route taking runners through its peaceful woodland.

The varied trail routes combine forest tracks and estate paths with a naturally undulating profile, providing a scenic challenge suitable for experienced trail runners and those moving into off road racing.

Both distances are chip timed by Timing Up North and are canicross friendly. Finishers receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a hot drink and a bacon sandwich or alternative.
