The Skye Bridge 10K is organised by the Kyleakin Gala Committee and takes place from Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye as part of the annual Kyleakin Gala celebrations. Held under UK Athletics Rules, the race offers a distinctive road 10K featuring one of Scotland's most recognisable landmarks.
The route starts and finishes in Kyleakin, crossing the Skye Bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh before returning across the bridge to the finish. The out and back course combines coastal scenery, views across Loch Alsh and the unique experience of running over the bridge linking Skye with the Scottish mainland.
Marshals and well organised race day support help deliver an enjoyable event for runners of all abilities. The welcoming gala atmosphere and memorable bridge crossing make the Skye Bridge 10K one of the Highlands' most distinctive summer road races.
