The Shrewsbury 10K is organised by Ultimate Fitness Events and starts and finishes in Quarry Park, one of Shrewsbury's most iconic green spaces. This closed road event welcomes runners of all abilities, combining a scenic town centre route with enthusiastic local support and a professionally organised race experience.
The accurately measured course winds through the historic streets of Shrewsbury, crossing the River Severn before passing through the grounds of Shrewsbury School. Early climbs are followed by a faster second half returning to Quarry Park, creating a rewarding route that blends challenge with the opportunity for a strong performance.
The event features chip timing, a technical finisher's T shirt, bespoke medal, free event photography, water stations and post race refreshments. Its combination of historic surroundings, closed roads and community atmosphere has established the Shrewsbury 10K as one of Shropshire's leading road races.
