Time For Tentsmuir

Head to Tayside for a fantastic trail running festival this November...

This year's Scurry Around Tentsmuir Forest Trail Festival will be an even more dazzling affair than usual as the scenic mixed terrain event returns to Tayside on 5 November!

Edinburgh-based race organisers Scurry Events have been organising the festival since 2021 and this year hope to provide community support to the Tayport Community Trust and Larick Centre through monies raised.

The festival has proved to be popular with runners once again with some 500 places already snapped up for the autumn event which offers runners of all standards a family friendly mix of multi-terrain runs. The half marathon, 10K and 5K events will all follow separate one-lap courses through and around the scenic Tentsmuir Forest, starting at the Larick Centre, Tayport (Links North Road).

A separate 1.2K fun run for the whole family will follow a ‘badger’ signposted trail around a safe, grassy area near to the main start.

All half marathon,10K and 5K runners will receive a finishers medal and a race memento, but simply taking part is a huge reward in itself. The goodies on offer at nearby Salt & Pine creperie are also highly recommended (ed).
