The inaugural Saucony Run Shoreditch Half has officially sold out, with all 10,000 general entry places snapped up months before runners take to the streets of east London on Sunday 20 September.

The sell out marks another milestone for an event that made a strong first impression in 2025, when around 9,000 runners took part in the original 10K. Building on that success, organisers have expanded the event into a Half Marathon for 2026, creating one of the capital's newest major road races.

Starting and finishing beside Shoreditch Park, the fully supported route showcases some of east London's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Runners will pass through Hoxton Market, Stoke Newington and De Beauvoir before returning to the finish festival, while spectators will have multiple opportunities to cheer participants around Newington Green.

The event is delivered by Motiv Sports UK in partnership with Saucony and the London Boroughs of Hackney and Islington. Alongside the race itself, Shoreditch Park will host an event village featuring entertainment, food vendors and partner activities throughout the day.

Although general entries have now sold out, runners still hoping to take part can secure a place by running for one of the event's official charities. With strong demand for the inaugural edition, the Saucony Run Shoreditch Half has already established itself as one of the most anticipated new additions to London's running calendar.
