Organised by Nice Work, the fourth race of the Rye Summer 10K & 5K Series takes place at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex. The event offers runners the choice of a 10K, 5K or junior race, making it suitable for beginners, club runners and experienced racers alike.
The accurately measured courses follow a flat, fast out-and-back route along the concrete road through the nature reserve, passing a unique coastal landscape of shingle ridges, saltmarsh, grazing areas and lagoons. While the route is capable of producing quick times, runners should be prepared for possible coastal winds.
