Run Mummy Run joins forces with Race for Life

Run Mummy Run is again partnering with Race for Life and aims to raise over £20,000 this year for Cancer Research UK. They have launched a new, ‘Race for Life Inspired’ collection as part of their fundraising efforts.

Run Mummy Run has brought thousands of women together in a friendly and welcoming environment that is accessible to everyone. The popular online running community is open to women of all ages and abilities who are passionate about the sport and wish to share their experiences with others in a safe space.

More than 61,000 women are members of the network’s Facebook group which is known for its equality, kindness and willingness to listen to and respect person’s point of view. Female runners talk about their running journeys, their goals and ambitions and motivate each other through the highs and lows.

Many women in the Run Mummy Run network will have personal experience of cancer or know someone affected by the disease, e.g. partner, child, close relative or a friend. They support Cancer Research UK and also like the inclusive ethos of the Race for Life events that are ideal for anyone new to running. There are 5K, 10K and Pretty Muddy obstacle course races to choose from and children are more than welcome.

Run Mummy Run has released a new, eye-catching kit in blue and pink, with a percentage of sales going to Cancer Research UK. This kit will become a familiar sight at Race for Life events across the country.
