Run For Wildlife Autumn 5K

The Run for Wildlife Autumn 5K takes runners through the unique surroundings of Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster. The route explores the wildlife park and gives participants the unusual opportunity to run past animal enclosures featuring species including lions, giraffes, rhinos and baboons while completing the 5K challenge.

Runners can walk, jog or run the course, making the event accessible to a broad range of abilities while still providing an opportunity to chase a faster 5K time. The route combines the park's pathways and varied surfaces with close views of the wildlife areas, creating a running experience very different from a conventional road or park race.

The event supports the Wildlife Foundation and places conservation at the heart of the day. A separate Junior Run allows younger participants to get involved, while the main 5K brings together runners, families and spectators for a distinctive event combining running with the surroundings of Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
