The Rasselbock Marathon and Half Marathon is organised by Rasselbock Running and takes place in Sherwood Pines Forest, Nottinghamshire. The routes follow a mixture of forest trails, compact fire roads and woodland paths through the scenic surroundings of Sherwood Pines. The Half Marathon completes a single loop, the Marathon covers the course twice and the Ultra Marathon adds an extended section, with rolling terrain, runnable trails and peaceful woodland throughout.
Professional chip timing, well stocked aid stations, marshals and medical support help provide a well organised race day. A lively event village with food vendors, music and local businesses creates a welcoming atmosphere, while all finishers receive a bespoke commemorative award to mark their achievement.
