Organised by GB Ultras, Ultra Great Britain is a 215 mile ultramarathon following the entire Southern Upland Way from Portpatrick on Scotland's west coast to Cockburnspath on the east coast. Designed for experienced ultrarunners, the race is completed as one continuous stage and features approximately 4,630m of climbing.

The route passes through remote forests, rolling hills, open moorland and picturesque Scottish villages, providing a demanding mix of trail and natural terrain. Runners must navigate long stretches of isolated countryside while meeting checkpoint cut-offs and carrying mandatory kit throughout the event.

Competitors are supported by fully stocked checkpoints, medical assistance and live GPS tracking, creating a professionally organised endurance event. Entry is limited to experienced ultrarunners who meet the qualifying criteria, making Ultra Great Britain one of the UK's premier long-distance trail races.
