Upton Summer Series Race 5 takes place at Upton Country Park on a 5 mile road course through the park and surrounding roads. The route is fully marshalled and provides an enjoyable evening race suitable for runners of all abilities, from first time racers to experienced club athletes.

Organised by Poole Runners, the race is run under UK Athletics rules and uses chip timing with Grand Prix style starts, allowing runners to begin at their own pace while results are based on chip time. Age category and team prizes are awarded across the series, and a separate 1 mile junior race takes place before the senior event.
