Worcestershire's Pendock Spring Chicken Run will return to the gorgeous countryside in and around Pendock on 30 March 2025 and will once again raise much-needed funds for the local primary school. It is a fun-filled springtime event for which chicken themed fancy dress is actively encouraged!

Organisers say: "This is a run for all: young or old, novice or experienced, there is a distance to suit and a picturesque multi-terrain course to enjoy."

There is a 10K and 5K plus a 1K Fun Run for children: the 1K is at 10.30am which allows sufficient time for an adult to run with their son or daughter before having a go at the 10K or 5K which start at 11am.

Leaving Pendock CE Primary School, the 10K and 5K runners follow a picturesque, multi-terrain course consisting of undulating roads (gentle!) and farm tracks through the South Worcestershire countryside. There is a hill on the 10K with stunning views across the Malvern Hills so it is well worth the climb – especially on a clear day. Both races include a sprint across the finish line at the Primary School.

The 10K, 5K and 1K winners will receive themed prizes and all finishers will be presented with a medal and goodies.
