Palacerigg Trail 10K

Party At The Palace

Cumbernauld trail race will return to local country park in 2025...

Look ahead to June when you can enjoy a 10K jaunt round Palacerigg Country Park in aid of some worthwhile causes! Hot on the heels of the inaugural Palacerigg Trail 10K in 2024 the event will return in 2025 on 1 June.

Organisers commented: "Big news from PTR HQ, we have an official date for the second Palacerigg Trail Race. Slightly earlier in the year, so maybe we won't get as wet? This year we're pleased to annouce the event will be chip timed but we still welcome participants of all abilities, especially first timers!"

An undulating trail route around the beautiful landscapes of Palacerigg Country Park, Forrest Wood and Glencryan, consisting of both single track and forest paths. Trail shoes advised, but any footwear you don't mind getting muddy will do!

We will be raising funds for local charities. Our main beneficiary will be Cumbernauld & Kilsyth care which is a local charity which we know does amazing work in the community and we will also be raising money for St Andrew's Hospice and the Scottish Wildlide Trust."

The £18 entry fee includes a shuttle bus from Greenfaulds Station and goodie bag including a one of a kind memento. There are limited edition t-shirts and hoodies available for early birds, created by Bionic Brunette. A contribution from these will also go to the chosen charities.
