Race 2 of the 3 race Forest Five Series is organised by Orion Harriers and forms part of a popular summer series first established in 2009. Held on the first Saturday of June, July and August, the series combines friendly competition with overall awards based on aggregate times across all three races.
The 5 mile mixed terrain course explores the woodland trails, forest paths and open spaces of Epping Forest, providing an enjoyable and varied route in one of London's largest ancient woodlands. Suitable for runners of all abilities, the race offers an engaging challenge while showcasing the natural beauty of the forest.
With chip timing, age category awards, team prizes and a welcoming club atmosphere, the Forest Five Series continues to be a popular fixture in the summer racing calendar, with Race 2 building towards the overall series standings.
