Organisers have been granted special permission to use not only the land form itself but the surrounding countryside and former open cast site.

This is a unique opportunity to race up and over Northumberlandia and also explore areas that are 'off limits' to the public.
The children's fun run before the main event will be a 1 mile loop of Northumberlandia starting at 6pm. Free entry for children with an adult entered in the main event.
The adults 10K route will include hills, fast stone paths, soft trails, forest tracks and a sting in the tail!
There will be a bespoke medal for all finishers and we hope you will stay and enjoy the café and stalls in the 'Event Village' after the race.
