Nite Lite Run Dark

The Thrill Of The Nite

Make your last race of the winter season a thrilling night time affair...

For those of you who love the thrill of a night time run, North Lanarkshire Leisure's Nite Lite Run Dark is a total no-brainer! The good news is that this event is at the tail end of the winter months and so there is still plenty of time to get some dark run training in before the race date of 22 March next year.

The popular evening race attracts runners of all ability levels and is a fun way to mark the end of the winter running season! In 2023 close to 250 runners took part in the 6 mile event with Andrew Kennedy winning in 39:26 and first female Holly Tennant in a time of 45:56.

The route itself provides runners with a fantastic experience combining both road and trail elements around the picturesque setting of Drumpellier Country Park. The course starts at Lochend Loch within the park and runs past the Crannog and along the woodland trail incorporating parts of the North Calder trail.

The route will be well highlighted with runner guides circulated to all participants together with runner head torches supplied as part of the overall race fee of £15.

If you are a NLC jogscotland member or NLC employee, please email to receive a 50% discount code for entering the event.
