Newcastle MoRun brings runners of all ages and abilities together at Exhibition Park for a lively November running event supporting Movember. The programme includes a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and 1.5K Mini MoRun for children, with a welcoming atmosphere, fancy dress and opportunities to raise awareness of men's health.
The flat course follows a mixture of park paths and tarmac, making it suitable for runners aiming for a personal best or taking part in their first organised race. The 5K completes one lap, the 10K two laps and the Half Marathon four laps following an initial shorter loop. All distances are chip timed, with marshals along the route and instant results available after finishing.
Every participant receives a finisher medal and MoRunning headband, with drinks and treats provided at the finish. Special awards recognise fast performances, creative costumes and standout participants, adding to the friendly atmosphere of the day. Newcastle MoRun is part of a nationwide series encouraging people to get active while supporting Movember's work in men's health.
