The Newark Half Marathon is a historic closed road race that has been held since 1982. Starting on Hawton Road and finishing in Sconce and Devon Park, the single loop course heads through the surrounding countryside, passing Hawton and Cotham before returning to Newark for the finish.
Organised by RunThrough in partnership with DB Wood, the event features a closed road course, chip timing, water stations, marshals and a bespoke finisher medal. The event also includes a Junior Race, giving younger runners the opportunity to take part after the main Half Marathon.
The Newark Half Marathon follows a scenic route through the Nottinghamshire countryside before returning to the centre of Newark, providing runners with a fast and accurately measured closed road half marathon.
