Run wild in the country at the Ranton 10K
Inaugural race to take its first steps in this attractive rural location.
Enter the Ranton Run 10K and explore the best of the Staffordshire countryside whilst supporting the local primary school. The race makes its debut on Sunday 20 November and trail shoes are advised due to the terrain which could be muddy at that time of year.
Sponsored by Forte Care, the Ranton Run 10K is the first ever event in this picturesque hamlet and farming area, part of Stafford Borough. It contains four listed buildings including the 13th century All Saints Church and the quiet country lanes and off-road trails are suitable for runners of all abilities. Whether you want to compete for prizes, post a PB or take it at a slower pace and enjoy the views of the autumn landscape.
It starts and finishes at The Coppice: a family-run, working farm with parking on site and on the lane outside if needed. Registration between 8am and 9.45am followed by a race briefing at 9.50am then the start of the 10K at 10am.
The multi-terrain course makes it an ideal choice for any runner wanting a change from tarmac but nothing extreme or too technical. There is one water station on the route with more at the finish along with food and refreshments which are also available before and during the race so friends and family can enjoy a coffee and something to eat whilst waiting for their runner to finish.
A bespoke medal for every finisher.
All proceeds from the race go to All Saints CofE Primary School & Nursery.
Enter by midnight 31 August for the special Early Bird price. Sign up for the Ranton Run 10K via EntryCentral.
