Whitstable & Herne Bay MoRun brings the nationwide MoRunning series to the Kent coast, with 5K, 10K and Half Marathon races plus a 1.5K Mini MoRun for children.
Starting from Hampton Pier Recreation Ground, the predominantly hard-surface course follows the seafront on an out-and-back route. The 5K turns at 2.5K, while the 10K continues to the 5K turning point. Half Marathon runners complete an additional 1.1K section before tackling the 10K out-and-back twice. The course is dog friendly and suitable for running buggies, although some sections are narrow.
All four distances are chip timed. Finishers receive a MoRunning medal and headband, with drinks and treats at the finish. Fancy dress and moustaches are encouraged as the event raises awareness and funds for Movember and men's health.
