Lincoln 5K Series 3 takes place at Yarborough Leisure Centre in Lincoln on a flat, traffic free course that has produced consistently fast performances over the years. The event forms the third race in the Lincoln Wellington 5K Series and includes the headline 5K alongside 1K and 3K junior races and the Memory Mile, one of the few road mile races held off the track in the UK.
Organised by Lincoln Wellington Athletic Club, runners can enter the individual race or compete as part of the overall series, with registration based at the athletics track hub. Cash prizes are awarded across the 5K and Memory Mile series, with medals presented to the top three male and female finishers in every event. A donation from every entry supports the Alzheimer's Society.
