a scenic view of runners at the Kyle 10

The Kyles 10 Miles

10 YEARS, 10 MILES

The Kyles 10 Miles is called ‘Scotland’s scenic road race’. This cracker of a run on Saturday 14 September follows a stunning coastal route on Argyll’s Secret Coast. As well as the scenery, there’s a friendly vibe, great goody bag and a BBQ at the finish line, where you can also have a paddle in the sea! And this year it’s the 10th anniversary of the event, so there will be some extra celebrations too.

You couldn’t have designed a more scenic route if you tried. Heading out from Tighnabruaich, the circular route follows a quiet coastal road around the Ardlamont peninsula. You’ll catch glimpses of secluded beaches and be treated to views across to Arran, Bute and Kintyre. You’ll finish at the Kames Hotel, which is right on the beach over looking the famous Kyles of Bute.

The first five miles of the race are hilly, while the final five miles flatten out as you head north towards the finish line at Kames. Whether you’re a seasoned club runner or a first timer, you’ll find this route has something to offer.

Argyll’s Secret Coast is just two hours from Glasgow. Places are filling up fast, so make sure you sign up for the Kyles 10 Miles online today.
