The Kelpies Half Marathon is organised by Scurry Events and EveryRunner Events and starts and finishes at The Kelpies in Helix Park, Falkirk. Designed to appeal to both first time Half Marathon runners and experienced athletes, the event combines a fast, predominantly flat course with some of Scotland's most recognisable landmarks and panoramic views across the Firth of Forth.
After looping around The Kelpies, the route heads towards Skinflats before crossing the Clackmannanshire Bridge and returning via the historic Kincardine Bridge. Quiet roads, traffic free paths and expansive estuary scenery create a memorable race experience, with just one short climb on the approach to Kincardine. The final miles return to The Kelpies for an exciting finish in the event village. Chip timing, finisher's medals, commemorative T shirts, well stocked water stations and excellent organisation combine to make the Kelpies Half Marathon one of Scotland's most distinctive and fastest Half Marathon events.
