The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run hits the streets on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May for the biggest celebration of Brummie running in a decade.

It’s the Midlands’ most popular running event with 16,000 people of all ages signing up to take to the streets of the city and – new for 2025 – the world-famous Alexander Stadium.

The 10K and half marathon route shows off the best of Birmingham as runners set off from Centenary Square and visit the Jewellery Quarter, St Paul’s Square, the Mailbox, Grand Central and more. Half marathon participants will also experience the scenic views of Cannon Hill Park and Edgbaston.

The event is loaded with high-energy entertainment from start to finish, with rocking on-course music, charity cheer points, motivational local support and finish-line DJs, giving runners an incredible welcome home at the finish at Smithfield in the city centre to refresh at food stalls, meet wonderful charity partners and enjoy a post-run party.

As at time of writing, all places for Sunday's half marathon had sold out but you could still grab a place in Sunday's 10K and Saturday's Junior Races. You can do so here.
