Goole Riverbank Challenge 10K

The Riverbank Challenge 10K is organised by Goole Viking Striders and takes place in Goole, East Yorkshire. The event is a popular single-lap multi-terrain race that attracts runners of all abilities, combining fast running with scenic views along the River Ouse. 

The course starts and finishes on the riverbank close to Westfield Banks Sports Complex before following the River Ouse towards the village of Hook. Runners continue around the Riverside Gardens bandstand before returning along the riverbank to the finish. The predominantly flat route combines riverside trails with sections of tarmac, making it ideal for both first-time 10K runners and those chasing a fast time.

The event includes chip timing, a bespoke finisher medal, fully marshalled routes, medical support and race day facilities including changing rooms, showers and refreshments. With its friendly club atmosphere, scenic riverside setting and well-organised race day, the Riverbank Challenge 10K is a popular fixture in the Yorkshire running calendar.
