There are many races in Scotland that claim to be the 'most beautiful' but we think the Glenlivet 10K has every right to claim that title, why not take part this year and see if you agree? Taking in the beautiful landscape of the Cairngorms National Park, this is a race that has to be experienced to be believed. As organisers say: "There are few events out there that take runners on such a breathtaking journey."

After returning to its traditional spring date in 2022, the 10K will again take pride of place in April's race schedule (the 2nd) and as always it will be based at the Glenlivet Distillery which is nestled in the stunning heart of the Glenlivet Crown Estate.

The scenic route follows quiet country roads alongside the River Livet, offering runners views of ancient castles and the picturesque landscape of this ‘secret glen’.

All proceeds from the entry fees go directly to support Chest, Heart, Stroke Scotland's work with people with life-changing illness in Scotland’s communities, in order to give them the best possible chance of leading stronger, longer and better quality lives. Chest, heart and stroke conditions account for 40% of all adult deaths in Scotland. More people than ever before are living with chest, heart or stroke conditions. And since the pandemic, the charity has also helped those suffering the effects of Long Covid.

Speaking about the event, a spokesperson from the charity said: "Sign up now for £25 and you’ll receive an exclusive superhero fundraising pack and branded t-shirt, plus a special medal and goody bag on event day."
