Run Mhor race action

Mhor, Mhor, Mhor!

Eat, drink and Run Mhor in 2022...

Epic scenery, testing routes, boutique hotels and festival vibes are all on offer at the Run Mhor series of events which are back on the Scottish race calendar for 2022 and open for entries now.

Run Mhor is a series of three running events based in Balquhidder, Stirling comprising the Hidden Glen 10K, Mhor 84 Half Marathon and Mhor Marathon.

First up on 24 April is the 10K which takes place in the spectacular Monachyle Glen. Overlooking Loch Voil and Loch Doine, this race is set in an unbeatable location. Participants can relax in the mini-festival atmosphere after the event and pick from the wide range of hot and cold food, drinks, baking and more, put on by the team of chefs at the renowned Monachyle Mhor Hotel.

Later on in the year the Mhor 84 Half Marathon is scheduled for 12 June. The undulating route is predominantly on a mix of road and cycle path but there’s a little dose of trail for good measure! Post-race, take your pick from the runners menu and celebrate your success whilst soaking up the unique atmosphere at Mhor 84 Motel.

Why not book a nights accommodation or arrive early and enjoy breakfast at Mhor 84 Motel before taking on the stunning half marathon route that links Balquhidder, Strathyre and Lochearnhead.

The Mhor Marathon (7 August) undoubtedly showcases some of the most spectacular scenery Scotland has to offer, not to mention the award-winning Mhor hospitality on offer at the finish line. Throughout the route runners will pass Loch Lubnaig, Loch Voil and Loch Doine, follow the path of the River Leny and River Balvaig and are surrounded at all times by the breathtaking mountainous landscape of the Trossachs. If you’re looking for a unique marathon with stunning views, this one is not to be missed!
