Coventry Half A Run For All
A big deal on the Midlands race calendar - the Coventry Half returns for 2024...
Entries are open for one of the Midlands's most highly anticipated and popular charity road running events, the Coventry Half Marathon. Returning to Coventry’s sporting calendar on Sunday 28 April, thousands of inspiring and seasonal runners alike are expected to take part.
Boasting huge popularity across the region, the Coventry Half Marathon is once again hoped to generate a boost for a number of local and national charities. With community and charity at its core, participants are encouraged to take part and raise money for their own personal reasons or to support one of the event’s partner charities.
Runners are invited to fundraise for a cause close to their heart, chase a personal best or take on a brand-new challenge. Regardless of goal or reason for taking part, event organisers are committed to facilitating a way for runners of all types to take part.
Cllr Abdul Salam Khan of Coventry City Council, said: "We're delighted to be working with Run For All on the organisation of the Coventry Half Marathon next year.
"The route will cover some of Coventry’s iconic buildings and attractions meaning participants can experience the city whilst taking part in the run. I hope to see thousands of people sign up to take part in this brilliant event.”
Tristan Batley-Kyle of Run for All said: “The Coventry Half Marathon is a great way for the local community to engage in a local sporting event and also serves as a great opportunity for runners to fundraise for a charity close to their hearts."
